God Squad Conference

On the Solemnity of St. Joseph (March 19), we attended a conference for men hosted by "God's Squad", a group of Catholic men who have a mission to encourage fathers, and young adults to become spiritual leaders for their families and communities. The group invited our brothers to be present at the conference to give witness to consecrated life and interact with the participants.

The sisters served at the event helping with the organization and distribution of food. We also had the opportunity to promote and sell our Lectio Divina Compendiums.

The event had as speaker Jeff Cavins, a famous lecturer and biblical scholar, best-selling author in the United States. We were fortunate to have a moment of sharing with him about our Community, our charism with the Word of God, and the Sabbatical Year.
