Charism

The Seeds of the Word is part of the New Communities of the Catholic Church and is a member of CHARIS, an international association recognized by the Holy See. It brings together members from different stages of life (single men and women, consecrated men and women, couples, families, clergy) in a life given full-time to the service of the mission, for the life of the world, “Pro Mundi Vita.” Stimulated by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, each person experienced a new Pentecost in their life, which is at the origin of many personal and community vocational stories.
The Holy Spirit and the Word of God are the sources and regenerating agents of our vocation.

By the grace of the Holy Spirit, the vocation of the Community is centered on Christ, the Word of God, the Word made flesh, for the life and salvation of the world. Thus, the Seeds of the Word Community recognizes itself in a Biblical and Ecclesial identity.

Book of Life 10.6-7

Following the example of Saint John, the beloved disciple reclining on Jesus’ breast, each one of us is called to this contemplation and proclamation of the Source of Love which recreates every man and woman. The Heart of Jesus then becomes the true resting place, and the Lord can be welcomed and find the place of His rest in our own heart.
