Beauty Will Save The World!

Beauty Will Save The World! This was our first ever evangelization through the arts event in Canada held on January 31st the feast day of saint John Bosco. Inspired by Saint John Paul's II letter to Artists, our Beauty Will Save The World event consisted of many different performances to help fundraise for our mission. For the first time hosting such an event we had an amazing turn out of 75 people including us Community.

We began the night by welcoming people with praise and worship led by our community members Giselle and Benjamin and kicked off the event with a reflection on beauty by Sr. Mary Elisabeth as well as a prayer Led by Br. John Paul and Sr. Marie Catherine the MC’s of our program. Next we had our two male novices, Benjamin and Jaxyn, perform a rap they wrote inspired by Saint John Paul II’s five loves and concluded the first part of our program with fellowship and sharing of the more hands on artistic side of our Community with many projects, paintings, and other handmade items on display from both our community members and sabbatical year companions. 

To start things back up again we began the second half of our evening with a Joyful Jewish dance and wrapped that up with a testimony done by Isabelle a candidate within our community. We then had some more music followed by a sketch drama on the beauty of creation and concluded the formal part of our event with music written by the community.
