St. Joseph Lenten Retreat 2026

From March 23rd to March 25th we were invited to speak for a Lenten mission held here in Calgary at St. Joseph's parish. The theme was ‘The Beloved Disciple Hears The Voice Of God’ focusing on Mother Mary and St. John at the foot of the cross. Each night started with a talk and ended with a time of reflection and Lectio Divina allowing us to share the Word of God with the 80 to 100 parishioners that attended every night. It was a beautiful and fruitful mission concluding with the opportunity for the parishioners to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. As we approach the end of Lent let us pray for those who attended this retreat that they may live these last days of lent well so they can enter more fully into the joy of the Resurrection.
